Well, there are two ways to go with this.
1. You could get a voltage regulator (APC) unit that will not only both hold the voltage level constant, but often times take the beating for a serious surge (rather than you television).
2. You could get a regular surge protector. You want one that has no less than 1000 joules, and a response time of less than one nanosecond.
