Samsun Customer Support

I purchased a Samsung 46" LDC TV with a 1 yr warranty and 3 mos after it went out of warranty it developed vertical lines. Couldn't get any help from customer support until I saw a post by "samsung-tech" on this forum mentioning ECS. I contacted ECS and without any hassle they said they would replace my "bad panel"($700) and I agreed to pay labor($150) and was very satisfied to save my $1700 investment. A few days ago I encountered the "bad caps" problem (only clicking sounds when trying to power tv on).I made 1 call to customer support(now 2 yrs out of warranty) and they immediately said they would replace the bad capacitors. One hr later their service repairman called to set up an appt for the following day to repair my TV free of charge. He arrived the next day and now my TV is functiong fine. I also own a Samsung refrigerator that is the "bomb" (that's good). I am very happy to stick with a company that backs up their products.
