Which update?

Some do that under specific conditions. One condition I've run into is when Zonealarm and/or TeaTimer block part of the install. Another time the update was not applicable to their machine.

Thanks for your prompt response. The updates are KB890047 and KB867282.

TeaTimer doesn't block anything if you don't want to. There'll always be a popup window, and it gives you the option of allowing the chance.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
