What is your opion about SafeWeb? Their Ads talk about being safer on online with this new software. Do you have it?

Don't have much idea about it but I cal say that it can be used in mobile and desktop as well.
Though if you need some help you may refer to other security software such as:
Adblock Plus, Ablock Plus or Ublock Plus.
SaferWeb is the most difficult to install and navigate program I have attempted in the last 20 years. Chat Help to help with installation problems almost always redirects to THIS PAGE UNAVAIBLE and if u are able to finally connect to CHAT the technicians can not correct, give advise or fix the issues. I tried to connect to various servers listed that were available but wasn't able. For example, I tried the free server in ICELAND for over 20 minutes without being able to connect. The CHAT technician gave advise to correct the problem but it did not fix the connectivity problem and when I told him that I followed his instructions but still could not connect he put me on hold and SIGNED OFF and disconnected.
Completely frustrated I quit trying to download the SaferWeb program.
I have used Saferweb for little more than 1 month. When it functions, it is a decent service.
However, there are connectivity issues almost constantly. One must re-set the password too often and the overall stability is poor. Lost connections are common to the point of frustration.
One must be very careful with the billing. Even though one registers for the minimum as a trial the maximum is charged. I initially registered for one month at $3.99/mo. A couple of days later I noticed a charge of $248 for a 2 year subscription. When I contacted Saferweb they apologized and changed the subscription to 1 year and credited my card with $128.
I still am not satisfied with the service neither technically nor personally.
I would recommend another service but be careful in choosing. There are other companies operating under different names but it's still the same company.
Saferweb is not as honest as one would wish.
Aside from that, I'm pretty happy with them.
I do not like the way the media says something is wonderful when in fact it's all a lie. This is my response to attempting to work with Safer Web.

downloaded and installed free version. was not able to do anything unless I upgraded. Didn't like that.

had a look at the 80% offer and saw the 24 month plan for $1.97/mth. sounded okay and proceeded to payment.

selected paypal which then notified me that I will be charged $239.

emailed saferweb support to cancel any other charges - now.

emailed paypal disputes not to accept any charges from saferweb

I found the whole process deceitful and somewhat illegal - bate & switch scam

adblocker plus works great on Opera and okay on IE.
Ublock is fabulous on Firebox. Don't use Chrome as it's a memory hog. UB is not available for IE or OP
It is better to not trust any company or product just by seeing an ad related to it. It might be real or a scam. But until and unless the product is available in the market and having positive reviews, then only you should trust them. There are fraud companies who ask for money to give security services and then never respond back. So be aware and take care accordingly.

I cancelled my order immediately. Initially, I booked the safeweb service at £1.99 per month through PayPal. When I checked the account, they had added an "EBook" subscription turning the annual cost from £23.88 to £287.00 !!!! Paypal have stopped the payment and I have notified saferweb that I regard their action as fraudulent.
There is no way I would trust this company again.
Definitely not recommend.
Support is about as bad as I've ever seen, that goes for both Chat and e-mail support. All they give is canned answers totally irrelevant to the question. They're probably using AI as are some other sites now.
But that's not the worst of it. The software is not just poor, it was actually hurtful to my system. Every time I connected using the software it created another profile & totally junked up my registry and, for those of you who know, cleaning out old connections is a nightmare. I now only manually connect. If you are new to VPN, which I was, I would doubly not recommend it. The underlying service is fine, but bear in mind that this is my only experience with VPN and I am right between San Jose and L.A. with lots of servers available.
What a joke of a company! I ordered the Pro version the night this article came out. When I checked out there was a "special deal" for 60% off, saying it was going to be $3.99, got an email receipt saying it was $7.49. The next morning I got a call from my bank saying i had a $95 charge from SaferWeb and wanted to know if I had made the purchase. I had to cancel my debit card, get a new one and SaferWeb has absolutely no explanation for the $95 charge. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS "PROGRAM".
They will try everything and every door and every window to get you pay as much as possible upfront! Then...you will realize a LOT of websites include your bank website, Homedepot...etc etc they are all unable to connect! Crazy thing is...with their own VPN connection...you can not even go to their help site!!!!!!
Whatever you do....DO NOT USE THIS PIECE of XXXX Service.
I have had SaferWeb for over one year, I have never been able to connect to another country with out it showing me information about the country that I live in. I thought that when you connect to another country you would be able to watch TV in that country and use the web browser to search for things in the connected country. I have contacted the help service, but I never get a reply from them. I am disappointed with SaferWeb and the lack of support, I would not recommend this program to anyone.
Does anyone knows why SaferWeb does not work like they claim? Am I expecting it to work as it is advertised. At this point I feel that SaferWeb is a scam and not a true VPN program. I think I should of used Express VPN, I have a friend that uses it and has no problems access web pages or watching TV programs in other countries.

There are free and not so bad versions of Avast, Avira and AVG. That's cheap.
Windows Defender on Windows 10 is considered somewhat less. But it's free also.
There is not security in Internet. Apple, Microsoft, Google, Android, iLies, Windows everything is spyware. Even devices spy for NSA. And people agree everything. So pls dont sell any security in Internet because everything is lies. You can delete some adware viruses and so on but you cant never delete spyware because you need it for using Internet and phone.
If both are true, then "sorryonlytruth" is lies and everone agrees that lies are "sorryonlytruth".
Besides, my devices don't spy for NSA and to say "people agree everything" doesn't make sense.

If you feel that Windows 10 violates your privacy, then you should immediately wipe those drives and install something like the TAILS OS.
I have has safer web for one -year and it is the BEST program I have found to connect to a foreign country and watch TV e. g. Sweden. I have never had a problems with their software and logged in flawlessly for a year. I just found out that they are going out of business. Sad.
All of the bad reviews are bogus in my experience.
Also been using for over a year and it's an excellent desktop VPN. Had some glitches back when I first got it but haven't had any issues in at least a year.
