Safer chemical free laptops

by Chacibita / November 20, 2011 3:07 AM PST

My friend I I have multiple chemical sensitivity & have to air out laptops for a year or more to have them safe enough for us. The new plastic cases & a lot of the chemicals they use take a long time to air out. Does anyone know if the new metal ones give off less new plastic odors or of know if any of the laptops have reduced the use of the most toxic chemicals & thus safer for us at a reasonable or sale cost?

Not made today.

The LCD used still has plastics and chemicals. For those with such issues, I fear that such is not made today. The Apple laptops with aluminum and glass panels may be better but for now and the foreseeable future there will be LCDs and batteries with chemicals.
