Safari won't display graphics

by sham1313 / July 16, 2006 5:34 AM PDT

Since the 10.4.6 update, I can't get Safari to show graphics. I've tried replacing it with one from another computer that works Ok, but to no avail. I guess this is some kind of prefs thing, but deleting all the prefs I can find hasn't solved it. Has anyone any ideas as to what this might be?
Cheers,
Colin.

So what exactly do you get when you go to a website, this one for instance?
I don't see anything in the preferences of Safari that would prevent the display of graphics.

I get boxes or just plain nothing where a graphic should be. Some show but most don't. I looked for prefs too but didn't find anything. Is there a third party gizzmo that might turn them back on again?

i have the same problem
by newmac06 / January 4, 2007 12:22 AM PST

Hi,
I have the same problem on my mac mini. I have the most amount of problems when trying to view photos or on myspace. It can take several minutes to fully load a page, or sometimes not even load completely.I tend to get timed-out errors. I am new to macs, so I don't know how to fix this problem. At first I thought it was a ram thing, so I increased my ram to 1gb from 512. Though this didn't really help much.

I also have similar problems viewing photos in iphoto. Again I thought it might be realted to large file sizes and small ram... but no real change since i upgraded.

Any suggestions???????????

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
