They may have non-standard HTML. No one here can see the issue since it's not in your post.

But I bet the HTML code is invalid or has errors.

Is ALL the text misaligned in Safari
by mrmacfixit Forum moderator / July 17, 2006 1:55 AM PDT
In reply to: additional info

or is it just at certain sites.

You have given NO information for anyone to work with.

Name names and we can see if we have the same problems.

As Bob pointed out, some people do not write good html

Safari Text mis-aligned
by donaldmullaney / July 17, 2006 3:23 AM PDT

All the text is not mis-aligned in Safari. For example, on these pages only the list of responses to my question are not properly spaced. If I click on the reponse, the text will be OK.

Again, what web page? Cnet forums?
by R. Proffitt Forum moderator / July 17, 2006 3:39 AM PDT

That's been discussed and is flawed HTML code.

Please get use an URL or screenshot at the very least if you want comments.

Now, and I really do not belive this could possible be this, are you referring to the way that the posts are moving over toward the right hand side, the further down the screen that you go?

Please tell me it is not this!

If this is the case, all is well and nothing is incorrect with your browser. ALL the CNET forums look like this, it is the way they are supposed to look.

Have you checked
by russ666 / July 17, 2006 8:46 AM PDT

Have you checked to see if your font size is a little larger than average. if you haven't, try reducing your font size and see if that helps re align the text at all.

Can you take a screen capture and then post that as a link to show what YOUR rendered page is looking like ?

We do not have access to your User folder so cannot see the picture that you thought you had sent.
You cannot send pictures to this forum, they have to go to some other place like imageshack.com.

I was mistaken when I commented on the supposed screenshot. I just clicked the link in your post, without reading it, and was shown a perfectly good page. My bad.

So, other than the font size, we have no idea what you screen looked like.

Glad it's fixed though

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
