Question

Safari Menu Issue

Oct 18, 2015 11:54AM PDT

The menu bar in Safari has always been a white background with black type. For some odd reason, yesterday it switched to a black background with white type. I've gone through all the settings and can't find any reason for it to do so or any way to change it back.

Can anyone help me get Safari back to white with black type, please?

Someone on another forum responded with the correct answer. Apparently "Private" viewing was enabled accidentally which turns the menu bar black with white.

Since more than one thing can cause this, there is more than one correct answer. If you are cross posting, do that with care as some forums lock discussions when that happens.
