hi, I'm an iPhone defector.
I've turned on the mobile data tab on my s4 but nothing happens,
I've been on the Samsung website and it states that I should see a 3g icon with coloured arrows,
( is this right, I'm assuming so).

Ask your carrier for what they offer. Even today some fall back to other "g"s.

Hi. Thanks for that. My carrier is gift gaff and I've just taken my sim out of my iPhone and put it in the s4, so I'm thinking that there shouldn't be a problem.
There can be specific settings for carriers and phones. Most carriers don't document such on the web so we're back to their service counter for answers. There's also Howard's Forums.
