Question

S27950D overly saturated colors / calibration frustrations

by breacherman / November 2, 2011 1:55 PM PDT

Hi I just got this monitor yesterday and everythinng (games, browsing) has looked acceptable thus far without any indepth calibrating.
Stuck in my first blueray a bit ago, and the picture atm is awful, due to mainly what appears to be mostly oversaturated reds, yellows, and oranges.
I have tried messing with the color temps, and the color settings. Even turned red level all the way down and still the reds etc. are blindingly saturated.
Tried to download and use samsung's magictune calibration software but apparently it dosent support my video cars.
Please, if anyone else is using this monitor to watch bluerays with could you plz give me your settings, I dont know what else to do except return it. I dont want to because I know this thing is supposed to look far better than what Im seeing.

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
