ruuut.exe *32 What is this???

by cellomistress / January 1, 2010 3:08 AM PST

I've been having an issue for a few weeks now. If I put a micro SD card into my slot, it will work fine, then a few seconds later, I find a ruuut.exe on the card. This also happened with a brand new card I just put in. Never used, had no folders on it, but had this ruuut.exe file on it.

I open up task manager, and under processes, it's under ruuut.exe *32. I have also on occasion seen ruUut.exe *32

I don't know what it is and I want it gone. Pop-ups show up on my computer saying "ruuut.exe can not be found" and when I click the box out, it will keep showing up for a few minuets. I really don't have a clue what it is or how to get rid of it.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. ^^

Note: I am a n00b to this stuff, so if I need any information, please tell me how to get it to you. ^^;

Just downloaded Microsoft Security Essentials and it marked it as a worm and deleted it. ^^

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
