Russia may have space tourism competition - FINALLY...

Looks like The European Space Agency (ESA) is contracting with the Starchaser team (X-Prize competitor) to perform a study:

Article excerpt:
The study, part of ESA's Survey of European Privately-Funded Vehicles for Commercial Human Space Flight, will verify the feasibility of Thunderstar-Starchaser and its ability to meet space tourists' expectations.

i have heard that they sent the ubuntu tycoon to the space, and then some other guys...
and also a brazilian!

Brazil's government has payed 20 million dollars to Russia, so we could send a brazilian to space... for the so called "Programa Espacial Brasileiro"
he was more a space tourist than an astronaut Silly

but we did it!
