Runtime Errors?

Feb 3, 2004 1:30PM PST

Recently I have been getting a series of runtime errors when I visit a particular website which monitors my investments. I have contacted the company but they seem unable to help. An error window often appears which states "A runtime error has occurred, Do you wish to debug? Line:80 Error: Object required". I cannot proceed unless I select "No" in the error window. I know little about script errors so I do not select "Yes". While not serious it is certainly annoying.

I am running a Pentium III 866MHz, 392M RAM, 80G HDD, GeForce II graphics card with DVD and CDRW. The system is about 3 years old. I also use Windows XP Home Ed OS and IE6 and am fully up to date with all critical updates including SP1. I run a current subscription to NAV and have Zonealarm Pro firewall.

Can anyone help as I cannot seem to find anything similar in the forum, have looked through google links and the help and support centre provides little support.

thankyou,

Paul

That error is a result of a problem with a script on the website, and there's nothing you can do to fix it on your end.

Thankyou very much Bob - that was like removing a bone from my throat. Bless you.
