Runtime error Help Needed

Feb 24, 2004 3:57AM PST

I keep receiving a runtime error as outlined below:

Runtime Error
Unhandled exception caught in MP3::ACReaderImpl::GetTags

What does this mean?

How do I fix it?

Here's more info on my system:

VIA KT400-8235
BIOS: Phonix Technologies, LTD 6.0 PG

XP Pro 5.1.26
Service Pack 1.0

RAM: 1 GB
Processor: Athalon XP 1916 MHz

Thanks again!!

Thank you for your prompt reply. I will check the site you've recommended. I also double checked the Error Message, and there is NO typo. The message reads as I've written it in my original post.

The error occurs after starting up my computer. I click to close it and it reappears immediately. it will shut off for a longer time when I repeatedly click to close the error box, say five or six times, then it will appear again within five minutes.

I'll check the reference you gave me. Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated. You said it's a rare problem. Can you translate the error message for me since I haven't a clue what it's referring to? (I'm a newbie, for sure.)

Thanks again.

Checked the reference you gave, and, ha!, that would be me. I posted it on the Microsoft site yesterday but wasn't getting any help, so came here. Same problem, same person.
