Get another hdd and replace the original hdd.
Reload windows.
Put the original hdd in an enclosure and copy back your files.
Don't play with the original hdd if that's the only copy of your files.
Just fyi, I did post a question earlier but for some reason, I am unable to reply to any of the answers for more help.
To sum up the previous issues - I have a Dell Inspiron 7737 with Windows 10. The first issue was that it was stuck on airplane mode and nothing I tried would turn it off. Someone suggested a reboot, and so I tried that. But from 8pm at night to 2pm the next day, it was stuck on this screen with a spinning white dotted circle.
At that point is when I forced a shut down and it seemed to be working, but ended up back at the black screen with the white circle. I forced a shut down again but pressed F8 while it started up and it brought up this menu.
I've tried to refresh it, I've tried a System restore (didn't work because i've never created a restore point), I tried Startup Repair, I went through Startup Settings, and not a single one of those things worked.
The only thing I haven't tried is reloading/reinstalling Windows 10 via DVD, but as I stated in my previous question on here, I have a ton of photos and personal files I do not want to lose, and as I am not very tech savvy, I'm not sure what will and won't affect my personal files. I have created a recovery/backup USB in the past, but I never updated it and am completely unable to do so now.
