Running older programs on XP?

It's a work place and said company uses their IT staffers to provide transition from old to new systems.

If not, it's time to replace the old (unnamed) apps.

There is one method that works great. In a rare fit of showing "We can do this" I used RussinovichDisk2VHD app to create a ready to run Virtual Hard Drive and Microsoft's Virtual PC to run the old system in Microsoft's Virtual PC.

Any decent IT staffer knows this area so make them earn their pay.

Sadly the IT guy in our work is the only one for 3 of our stations and so he's always running back and forth like a mad man and doesn't have the to fix this issue...so next to him I was the most knowledgeable person in computers so they dumped the project on me, but I do get a nice bonus for it so its not so bad
