Flash,
What is the exact Rundll message that you are receiving?
Have you attempted to restart the computer into "Safe Mode"??. If drivers are required to be downloaded, you might want to do it on a clean computer, copy them to a floppy, then transfer them to the "bad" computer, then install while in "Safe Mode".
How To Restart in Safe Mode
Restart the computer, pressing the F8 key once per second, till it loads a selection screen. Use the up and down arrows to select "Safe Mode", press enter, and the computer will load into a safe mode. It looks like a normal screen but with Safe Mode in each of the four corners. When you?re done, restart the machine and it will boot normally.
Hope this helps and let us know those messages.

My son has an HP Pavilion desktop running Windows ME.
He has encountered an RUNDLL error message that freezes his mouse and keyboard. All the fixes I have found require those components to be operational to download the required new drivers.
HOW DO I FIX THIS PROBLEM????????
Thanks for your help.
