I'm not sure which spyware removal programs were used by you to scan the system. Have you tried any of the following scanners below?
Malwarebytes Antimalware (MBAM) http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html
A2 Free (A2) http://download.cnet.com/A-squared-Free/3000-2239_4-10262215.html
SUPERAntispyware (SAS) http://download.cnet.com/SuperAntiSpyware-Free-Edition/3000-8022_4-10523889.html
Also, please navigate to the location of Rundll 32.exe
Right-click the exe file and send it in http://www.virustotal.com/ for single and online virus scan. Let us know of the result by posting back the URL or website address of the scan result.
Have a spyware virus on my computer. I have Windows XP OS SP3. I currently have Avast anti-virus 5.0, but it has eluded my AV thus far. It has changed my system 32 rundll file to a page instead of an application. I've tried downloading several spyware removal programs and have been unsuccessful in getting rid of this thing. How do I fix this and get it off my PC for free? I've read a few blogs on another website RE this problem, but I'm not experienced enough to be looking in system files and knowing what I need and don't. Help with this would be great.
