That error looks like
Mar 1, 2010 11:40PM PST

a Macro error.

Does Excel open other spreadsheets without problems? If so, close Excel down, the open Excel itself, (eg just the application and not any spreadsheets), then Tools > Options, and find the Macro security settings. Change the settings to warn you if a spreadsheet includes macros.

Then File > Open, navigate to the problem spreadsheet and select it. Excel should display a warning first of all that the spreadsheet includes macros, and will offer to turn the macro(s) off. Choose that and see if the spreadsheet opens correctly.
