Roxio Inquiry

by trublubush / December 23, 2006 2:05 PM PST

Hello and merry Christmas to everyone,

I have a question which I'd like to direct to anyone who has had experience with Roxio Easy Media Creator 9 Suite.

Does this software actually allow you to create and edit movies made up from already existing pics, clips, sounds, ...etc.?

Any information on this product will be helpful.

(BTW, if this is the wrong forum for this kind of discussion, perhaps someone could redirect me to a more appropriate location.)

Thank you,

If you just want an overview of the product...

then this site tells you what Roxio Easy Media Creator Suite 9 does;

It seems it only burns, (copies), media such as music, videos, etc to CD or DVD, and doesn't help you create/edit movies.

Perhaps if you could say what you want to do we could help point you in the right direction?

Thanks Mark,

Actually, I have gone to Roxio's site and read up on this product's features, which is why I'm interested in it.

What I'm interested in here is un-biased, un-polished real comments from somebody that uses or has used this product. There may be downsides to Roxio software that a pro-review site such as PCmag would "overlook."

For instance, Microsoft will tell you how great IE7 is and why you should upgrade; but when you read some of the comments posted on this forum you begin to realize that IE7 is not all that.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
