General discussion

Roxio Easy CD & DVD Creator Basic 6

Feb 11, 2005 7:55AM PST

I have the subject-listed software. I want to transfer music (rip) from LP vinyls to CDs, and I found an article on the web that gives step-by-step instructions for doing this: Start>Programs>Roxiio>Audio Central>Audio Central>File>Use Analog Source. However, there is no option under File (either active or grayed out) for "Use Analog Source."

Can you help??

Thanks.

1. I don't use that.

2. In the Mixer control panel (that speaker icon on many machines), the input may be muted.

The basic program

has limited features. I have Roxio 6.0 and that option is available. Is it the factory installed software that came with your computer? If so, you might need to buy the full version which is now 7.0.

In Audio Central

click Sound Editor and then choose your recording device source from the list.....instructions start on page 60 of the user manual and are also in the audio central help files. Roxio's instructions are pretty easy to follow. The other source of your information just gave you the wrong starting spot in Audio Central.

Good luck......
