Router/VPN doesn't work

I am so confused, I don't even know what information to put in this question. I have a Dlink wireless router and a card in my laptop. I cannot get all of my mail in Outlook from our Company intranet evidently because the router will not work with the VPN. Any insight?

1. It's a company issue. Let them fix it.

2. You didn't reveal the Dlink models. Or if you updated the firmware and contacted Dlink or looked at their website about that model. I would have noted more specifics, but without your compliance with this tip just above every new post, there's not much to be written except to note the lack of information.

Tip: If you are asking for help to troubleshoot a computer-related problem, please be sure to include all the necessary information (ie: operating system, model number, hardware, software, etc) that will help others identify your problem for a speedy resolution.

3. Before you go with the Wireless setup. Get the wired solution working.

It's possible you may need to change the address of your router to avoid problems addressing your company's VPN.

I've had the same problem.
My company uses Net6VPN and I have a Linksys 4 port router (model # BEFSR41).
I'll be doing fine, then all of a sudden I loose my internet connection. Work is no help....they just tell me to disconnect the router. I tried calling Linksys, but this router is apparently not one that they support VPN for. And my DSL service is no help....they just tell me to shut off the router.
It always seems to quit when I'm saving work to the company's network. Sometimes it comes back quickly, other times it seems to take says before the router works again.
I've reset the IP on the router a couple of times, the first time it worked, but hasn't since then.
Any suggestions? (other than buying another router?!?)
