Router unable to detect Internet Connection.

Mar 13, 2005 4:53AM PST

I had just gotten cable and was pretty amused by it. Yet it still wasn't as fast as my friend's connection. So i decided to reset the router and the moduem. When everything came back on again, everyything seemed to be fine. The Router was showing signs of a connection by blinking. But I couldn't get onto the internet. I tried many things from directly connecting my computer to the router and still was unable to get a connection. Now I'm stuck with a wired laptop, sitting on the floor. I was using a Dell TrueMobile 2300. Please help me out. I also did software tests with the router and it still couldn't figure that there was a wireless connection. Thanks
