Router suggestions for Panasonic Viera HDTV

by xbrockx / November 22, 2010 6:48 PM PST

I want to set up a wireless router for streaming video to TV. I talked to the folks at Panasonic and they told me the only dongles that would work are the Panasonic DYWL10 or the Netgear WNDA3100. The TV manual recommends using 11n 5 GHz and I see a lot of these in the cnet reviews so I guess my question is does anyone have suggestions on any particular wireless router that would work well in this setup?

Dual Band?
by xbrockx / November 23, 2010 2:42 AM PST

Do you think I need a dual band? I was leaning towards the Netgear WNR2000 but it is only one band which is 5 GHz.

...don't use the 5GHz frequency band. That's why it's easier to get a dual band, to cover everything in the house.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
