My choice is to use another DNS but many routers supply other features like disk or media sharing so they need to be the DNS server for all that to work.
TL;DR - Looks fine.
I have a Huawei Echolife HG520s wireless router which the IP address of it is 192.168.1.1 and was looking at the settings and it had:
IPv4 Address. . . . . 192.168.1.2
Subnet Mask . . . . .255.255.255.0
Default Gateway. . .192.168.1.1
DHCP Server. . . . . 192.168.1.1
DNS Servers.. . . . . 192.168.1.1
and was just wondering if the Default Gateway, DHCP Server and DNS Servers were all meant to have the same number as they are above. Is this correct or should the numbers be different?
