A router is designed for broadband; cable or ADSL. All it does is split and route the signal. Your only recourse is to live with it or get broadband.
You can have equal connections on all PCs if only one at a time is used.

Hello, can a router give faster internet connnection through a 56k dial-up modem in a 6 networked computer? My network is only connected trough a hub, and I connect all 6 computers through internet with only Xp's internet sharing so that the 56k speed is devided into 6 and no doubt that is very slow! How can I have a equal 56k connections with all 6 computers using only a single dial up connnection? Thanks for any informations you will give!!!
