What the host network is. Some colleges don't allow WAPs and may find ways to defeat this setup.
I picked up a Belkin n300 router to use as an access point on my college network. I'm trying to use it as an access point for our townhouse. I know the usual deal with configuring routers as access points, disabling the DHCP server and connecting the ethernet to the main network into a LAN port.
I've been able to plug this belkin n300 into the school via a LAN port, and connect other devices into the remaining LAN ports to get flawless internet. The issue is that none of those devices will work wirelessly. They are all able to connect wirelessly seemingly perfect, getting an IP address and everything, appearing ready to go. However, when you try to go to a website, it just hangs before saying it can't reach the page. I'm really struggling to figure out what the issue is. Any advice?
