Router

Hi,
I'm a newbie in this field and i appraciate any help.
I setup a new DI-604 D-Link Router and I started to use the computer as usual for surfung, with out installing the installation disk.Every thing went ok except The problem that i have now is I'm not able to make voice conversations. The message that I'm getting is " your ISP provider, your computer,or network may not support the voice conversations", I dont now what to do. Is this happened because I didn't install the installation disk? or there is some thing else.
P.S Before the router i was able to make voice and vedio conferences perfectly.

You need to. . .

access the router and open a port. Visit the D-link site for that router and the information will be there.

Thank you for answering,
I have followed your directions , and every thing went perfect. The only thing I'm confusing about is shall I install the instalation software which came with the router or it's not necessary??.

You may not need to use the installation disk. It probably has a software to help you setup the router settings, which sounds like you have already done successfully. It also will probably have instructions on how to setup the router in the form of a PDF and other documents. You may want to pop it in just to look at what is on the disk.
