LOL, I'm sorry, Steve, I didn't intend for it to be a big deal! At the time ...

.
I had a really bad connection and a huge download going, the machine was creeping along and it took 30 to 40 seconds to open each post.

Hey, thanks for the javascript, Steve! I put it in 1st Page 2000 to view. Pretty impressive. Now all I need to know is how to use it. No instructions, how do I go about registering it like you said?

No problem Rosalie

Here is the url where you can register your site.
They will send you the script to place in your site.
I recommend that you make up a new page to run the script.

If you have any problems then just ask.

Yep, George seems to be making the same mistake that you were making. The NT designation is there so that a person doesn't have to waste any time opening the message by clicking on the link. If the NT is hidden in the message, why bother adding the NT? It should be perfectly clear when a blank post displays that there is no text. That's like adding a comment to your programming code saying "this is an if then statement" or "this is a while loop"...

Re:{NT} you are right Blake. I'm just guessing this will work??

Nope, did not work. I give up.

I'm cracking up over here. I have no idea what you'll are talking about ...

however, what I was talking about is very simple. If there is no message in the body of your post then put NT either before are after the subject line. That way the reader will know there is no message and go to the next post without wasting time opening an empty message box.

I readily admit that I don't always follow this rule myself. Sad

NT - There is no message with this post, only the subject line.

NT - However, you DO have to place a period (.) in the body in order for it to post.
