Jan 27, 2013 5:14AM PST

I was wondering is it safe to root your android phone? I was going to root my galaxy note 2 and im not sure if its allowed and or safe.

Also I was going to root via this site: http://trendingphones.com/how-to-root-android/

There is a vid there.

Thanks, ,let me know if its safe.

It's safe but are you safe?

I don't take any issue with rooting as to safe or allowed. But let's cover what I see -> out there <-.

Over in some far East country this is done so they can install all those cracked apps. The problem isn't that the root or such but the trojans and badware in the pirate chests.

So in my opinion, root away but don't start installing from those pirate app sites.

It depends on your decision.

Rooting your mobile phone depends on what functionality you want to enjoy on your phone but before you commence your research on rooting your phone you should take time to read this post on the good and bad of rooting your mobile phone, http://addednew.com/rooting-your-android-smartphone/ .
Like I said earlier it depends on the functionality.

Might Expose You to More Security Risks: Phone will start malfunction of hardware or software problems. Because of the Android rooting. It's warranty is no longer valid, and the manufacturer will not cover the damages.
