Rookie Networking with XBox Live

Mar 26, 2005 11:28PM PST

Already have two computers at home, networked via Intel Anypoint phoneline networking system. I want to add XBox live for my son. Can I get proper router, plug in my existing cable from "server" (which did go directly to Broadband cable modem) into that router, then connect XBox to another port on that router and have things work? Router, of course, direct into Broadband modem. In other words, can my home network that I already have running, go into one of the ports on the router? Xbox on another port?
Thank you
