from? If you want to go back to old OS then if after 30 days you need the system restore disks form the old OS. If you want to go back to Windows 10 then you can download the ISO for Media creation site and create a clean install disk. I would do this anyways even if you go back because if you someday want to Windows 10 then you can do it for free if you make the disk.

Rollback is dependent on the availability of the Windows.old

Windows 10 rollback is dependent on the availability of the Windows.old & other folders folder, if there is no Windows.old, you can go in for a clean install of Windows 10 on a separate partition using a bootable USB.
