Rockford Fosgate Perfect Set up Question. WHAT REALLY WORKS?

Jan 27, 2009 6:04AM PST

I'm looking to get that nice, deep, clean even base from my 2001 Mitsubishi Galant. 1. I hear a lot about old school Vs. new school 2. Will 1000W be too much for my car, because if it raddles too much I wont like it, and if it absolutely drowns out my music I wont like it. I'm also getting a Extreme dynomate kit for the doors and trunk.

Here are my far, all Rockford Fosgate, Which would do better?

two 12" 1000W new school P3 subs not sure if 2ohm or 4 ohm is better..
1000W old school amp

1000W Old School Subs
1000W old school amp

800W P2 subs new school
1000W old school amp

Added to this would a mono amp push any of those subs better?
mono 1000W new school amp
500W mono new school amp

Tell me what you think about these set ups. Mix, match even make suggestions about them if you know what it is i'm trying to achieve here. I thank you guys in advanced.
