Attempted twice in last two days to download Robo Form. Get the "blub blub" sound from the computer, then a "Thanks for Downloading Robo Form", but I can't find it on my computer. ????

Jas,

Where did you try download it from? Please be detailed so somebody else can try the same download on the same site.
Did you try another download site?
Do other downloads from the same site work?
Do other downloads from other sites work?

And an important question: what do you expect to find on your computer?

ROBO FORM

Hi Kees,
Thanks for responding.
I attempted download from CNET Downloads, which was the only site tried. This is from the CNET e-mail
I've been receiving since buying the eMachine in Feb.
The "blup blup" I hear from the machine suggests that the download is being rejected, but the page immiately appears stating "Thank you for Downloading". ??
I've looked in the "All Programs", "Set Program Access and Defaults", and anywhere I think it might show up. Can't seem to find it. Would like to activate it. ??
Thanks Kees.

Can you please give ...
May 2, 2006 9:31PM PDT

more detailed instructions on how I should download it. Just something like "CNET downloads" is too vague for me. I'm bad in guessing, but can follow detailed instruction, like "go to ..., click ..., choose ..."

And you didn't answer:
- Do other downloads from the same site work?
- Do other downloads from other sites work?

For the last question go to www.tucows.com, for example.

More questions:
- what browser do you use
- do you have something like Norton Internet Security installed?

Hi Kees,
No, other downloads from the same site do the same thing.
Yes. Downloads from other sites do work, although they're not programs.
WOW. Did you ask "a mouthful" on the browser question. I have many: 80 to be exact. Sounds a little overwhelming to me.
They are:
DWebBrowserEvents.class and about twenty variations.
JSBrowser
BrowserCap
BrowsserDetail
ShellBrowser
IIS_ref_mb_aspscripterrosen
img_MiniBrowser.mi
And so on.
Sounds like too many. Next question is: How do I dump them?
Thanks Kees

Kees,
Sorry. I thought your first e-mail asked "where".
A program titled ROBO FORM, I guess.
