Rio500 - need of help

I have a Rio500, and I've had it for a while. It worked when I had my older computer (though I don't remember what it was, but it was crap), and now I use Windows XP. I see information about the Rio500 all over the place, but no matter what I do none of the programs will work correctly and no .dll will allow my computer to recognize my Rio when I plug it in.

I don't want suggestions of other mp3 players or suggesting I trash this one. I just want help to try to get this thing working.
