i have already made a post of how good this rio carbon is.first off i wonder where all the bad post come from about rio.my first rio was a flash player its over 1 yr old and i can say that i have not had any buttons fall off or anything like that.a matter of fact i have never had to add any firmware updates.one more thing it took a nasty fall and never even had a scratch.ok i now added these sony earbuds to my player and let me tell you its night and day.i have to say that the ones that came with my carbon are pretty good.i would say that these sony earbuds rate about an 8 in sound which is very good.nice bass and all.here is the best part..once you put these babies in your ears they dont come out.i dont know about you but i have yet to own a pair of earbuds that dont stay in with the slightest tug or whatever.for 50$ you will feel like you died and had pam anderson sitting on your lap(i prefer my face hehe)so overall my rio with these sony earbuds kick all kinds of butt.i am a metalhead so i like to crank alot of loud heavy stuff like black sabb and zeppelin.once i put these earbuds in my ear i am cut off from the world.go buy these and you to can block out the rest of the world....never stop rocking

I agree whole heartedly.
I've got that same exact combo & I'm loving it.

The Carbon is a no brainer, even the new iPod Mini with the 6GB & 18 hr battery doesn't even appeal to me as the Carbon is a much better designed unit. The Mini doesn't even have an EQ & the Carbon has a 20hr battery.

I also get a kick out of all the negative reviews for the Sony MDR EX71's. People are either really stupid of just too ignorant to read how to properly use then s depicted in the directions that come with these exceptional earbuds.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
