Hook the A/V from the VCR and the DVD, maybe even cable box to the switch box, output from the switch box putput to the modulator. John
Hello everybody! I need some help. I recently bought an RF Modulator. I finally decided to hook it up today. It is an RF Modulator made by TriQuest. It is a small one. It is model #5150. I decided to buy an rf modulator after I got fed up with having to unhook the a/v cables that are connected to my dvd player from my vcr in order to record a tv show on my vcr. My dvd player and vcr work good together until I want to record something on my vcr. I have an older Sanyo tv that has no a/v cable outputs so I couldn't connect my dvd player to that. I tried connecting my dvd player to my Time Warner digital cable box and my cable box didn't like that. It started showing channels with wavy lines going through the picture. So I thought ok I am getting an rf modulator so this crazy dvd player doesn't have to interact with my vcr or anything else but the tv. lol I am looking at the back of the rf modulator and I understand how to hook the dvd player up to it, but now I am wondering how can I connect my vcr to my tv if the RF modulator is hogging up the cables that were once connected to my vcr. Have you all ever connected a rf modulator, vcr, and dvd player to a tv? If you have, can you please explain to me how to do it or provide a link to a website that shows how to do it? Thanks!
