Part of the issue is Symantec's new product activation failed for many. In fact, with a firewall working, it may still fail.

If you want to try this product, ask what your return options are if you find problems with this new version. If they won't refund your money, then they have told you how much they value your business.

I have been using Norton Internet Security Sense Xp has come out. The New Internet Security 2004 is no different,no problems and has proved to very accurate. The only thing is now Symantec is requiring that you Activate all there software jusy like Microsoft and XP.

I have used Norton's Systems Works 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and never had any problems, but disabled 'ghost' and 'Go Back"....I use the retail Go Back. Recently got the Systems Works 2004 (free after rebates) haven't installed it yet. Do not anticipate any problems, if any with activation, will get the fix from Semantics.
