Verizon has no special "4G" plan. I have the same plan/features on my Motorola Droid Razr after upgrading from a 3G handset. When I am in an area that lacks 4G LTE, the phone switches to 3G mode automatically.
BTW: I kept the same $30 unlimited data plan as well as the same voice plan/features when I upgraded my phone in May.
So... it has come to this.....
I have searched far and wide on the internet for many days now, and I would rather like to have this question answered.
I am a self described "phone swapper." That term referring to the habit I have of going back to my old phone for the sake of something different or because I want to test out it's features in a new environment. (that new environment being that I recently moved to a new area)
Anyway, I currently have a Verizon 4g phone on a Verizon 4g plan. I took advantage of getting grandfathered into double data when they had that deal over the summer. Now however, I want to go back to my iPhone 4, mostly because of the magic that apple products seem to have.
Question time: Will I still be grandfathered into my 4 gigs for the price of two data plan, or would this force me to loose my data plan?
Clarification: In the area I moved to, I do not have 4g coverage. (I didn't have 4g where I lived before actually)
Has anybody been through something like this? I'm sure that there are other phone swappers out there.
Thanks to everybody in advance.
