retrieving multiple forwarded email with attachments

Jan 7, 2005 2:36PM PST

I use Incredimail and love it, my problem I would like to solve, I sometimes receive an email with an attachment that has been forwarded through many people, The attachment get embedded under many layers, I sometimes have to go through as many as 10 layers in order to view the attachment, How can I go directly to the attachment without having to uncover every single layer? I have read Incredimail's FAQ website but does not discuss my problem, have emailed them but have not received a reply yet. Can someone help Thanks in advance

forwarded e-mails

I have the same problem with Outlook Express and have yet to find an answer. Most of the time, I delete forwarded e-mails. I have no idea where they came from originally or how well protected other prople's computers are. Be careful if you do open those attachments.

Gbcrase, Just My Opinion...Delete Them

It's clear that a forwarded message of that type is simply "junk" mail and although the final attachment might be "cute", the multiple forwardings means that the previous sender did not consider your wishes regarding the message.

IF I receive a message which warrants sending on to a friend or family member, I ALWAYS recreate a new message and direct the mail to specific individuals only. I don't "forward" the previous one on. It may take a little longer but it is much more considerate..

In addition, when a message is forwarded, the senders and recipients are much more like to receive viruses. The newer viruses have the ability to grab ANY e-mail address on an infected computer and send infected messages to that individual or to "Spoof" the Sender's line so it looks like the infected emailcame from them. A "Forwarded" message may have multiple e-mail addresses from previous senders. That's NOT a good thing.

I also have found no effective way to "unfold" multiple forwarded message to read the final one..

Hope this helps.
