Restoring Google Contacts

The instructions throughout the net are giving info on restoring your Google Contacts from back in 2016. Update! Go to your Google Contacts, click on right side settings and select undo, then you are given a window of time you can choose up to 29 days 23 hours and 59 min. This is all the time you have if you have lost them all as I did a few days ago and have not backed them up, so be sure to backup to cloud, computer and maybe a thumb drive or two...LOL It will put them onto your phone as well when you sync. BTW if you have any new ones that you have entered within the period that you are restoring be sure to back those up and save to replace them...because you will lose any new ones, lets say you choose 2 weeks ago, any new ones in the past two weeks will vanish, so export to a thumb drive then you have them saved as well. Good luck, took me 2 days to figure out how outdated this info was.
