Question

Restore Windows Display Default Theme and Colours

Jun 16, 2019 7:44AM PDT

I've had several problems resetting Windows 10 over the past few days. Having almost sorted things out, I need to restore the default background theme and colours. I stupidly made some changes but now I cannot see the text in the search box. Is there a registry entry that can be changed/ deleted to restore this.

Many thanks

George

RIGHT click on the desktop, choose "Personalize". At the next screen, choose "Background" on the left, then select the Background, Fit, and background color of your choice. Now select "Colors" from the left side and choose the "Default Windows Mode" of your choice. Most choose "Dark". Etc. Do the same with "Themes" on the left. Choose the Theme of your choice.

Hope this helps.
