With some video files. Windows own CODECs (decoders for video and other file types) are known to cause reboots like that.
Many years ago I was in Redmond, WA with this issue in hand. I felt lucky that I had it ready to share while face to face with Microsoft folk. I learned a lot that day about Microsoft's take on the error. The answer was "don't do that."
Or rather if you find files that cause Windows to reboot then you remove those files from the system. Here I though Microsoft would want to harden the OS and fix the issue.
Lesson learned.
