Next time you log in, create a new account for her and get her to log into it.
If all is well, then you can start moving her documents, pictures, music, etc to the new account.
Running two different AV applications on your machine is not really a good idea,
Running AV applications on a Mac is, right now, a waste of resources as there are currently no virus's that attack OS X .

On my wife's log in she keeps getting a pop up screen that states the computer needs to be restarted by holding down the power key. It will not function until the computer is shut down and restarted. It does not appear when I am logged on. Running Imac
