Restart and Turn off Computer

I am using XP Prof + SP2
I would like to add two shortcuts to my Desktop to accomplish Restart and Turn off Computer. Does anybody know how to do this.

You can use the shutdown.exe with the corresponding switch -r (for restart) and -s (for shutdown).

So, you'll have to create two desktop shortcuts for:

c:\windows\system32\shutdown.exe -r

c:\windows\system32\shutdown.exe -s

and rename them consequently.
