Resolution won't change properly

Jan 26, 2010 12:16PM PST

Prior to installing Windows 7 I was running a dual monitor setup with 1920x1280 on both screens. Now they are running at a much lower resolution, since the icons are much bigger and program windows do not hold as much, but when you go to display to choose the resolution it says it is 1920x1280, which it is definetly not. Any help is appreciated.

Font sizes, etc.

You can check the pixel count of the resolution so let's say that is spot on. What many write about is the system wide font sizes. If those are larger which the defaults look to be why not dig into this new system and find where you control the font sizes and inch them down to get more on screen?

It helped here when I did that.

Good luck.

Is the graphics card driver up to date? Check it.
