Resolution problems

Jan 31, 2011 5:40AM PST

Hi, Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit here with resolution problems.

My monitor can't be found I believe, as it says Generic PnP Monitor, sometimes its Non-PnP.

But the real problem is I can't set to 1680x1050, which is a good resolution for it. Worse yet, not even 1920x1080 which is the maximum resolution.

I tried many things, from PowerStrip, Old Nvidia drivers and such.

I have Nvidia GeForce 285GTX updated to Driver 266

I may have missed it but can you supply what monitor this is and how it's connected?

Yes

The monitor is a BEKO one, VJAZ1 if I remember well, or VJEZ1.

I have it connected to VGA or DVI. I say VGA because it says so in the display system, and DVI because I use one of those little "plug in and out" things, the ones to plug a cable to another so you can plug it into your computer display if you know what I mean.

Sorry.

I didn't find monitor drivers from BEKO. Sounds like a good reason to get your money back.
