Resolution Problem in Acer Netbook

Am having an acer netbook. The netbook's resolution is not enough for my software and the continue button in the bottom of the page is not visible. If I connect my netbook to my TV through HDMI cable, will it solve this problem ??

Thanks in advance.

Re: resolution

Yep, that's an issue with netbooks, such a small screen.

A hdmi-cable might work. But I would try in the shop before buying if you don't have one ready.

Yes, try the external HDMI display.

New Resolution

1) Run regedit
1a) If you are not on higest tree level, go to him (by click on "Computer" from key tree)
2) Press ctrl +F to Search and modify all values "Display1_DownScalingSupported" from "0" to "1"
3) Restart the system
4) Enjoy the two new resolutions: 1024x768 px and 1152x864 px

This worked on my acer Aspire one D270. Before doing this take a system restore point for your safety.
