Is there a program out there that will take a 4-4.7 GB file and resize it down to 1 GB or so. Or just a quarter the size would be fine. I like having the files in full size to rip to a dvd for viewing on any player, but then after that for archival and storage reasons it'd be nice if I could resize it on the hard drive to 1 GB which should still be decent enough quality for viewing on my laptops 17 inch screen. If the software exists I'd love to use it. Freeware is nice, but if it works well enough its worth paying a bit for. Thanks.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
