Oct 6, 2018 11:54AM PDT

If i go in on my hp win10 computer and reset it to factory settings like it is right out of the box will it also wipe my 2 internal 8tb sata hard drives? I have data on them i do not want to use.

This is why we unplug before such actions. While the answer is it should not, why not play it safe?

If you are using the reset feature of w10 then you will need that disk plugged in.

All other disk can be unplugged.
